Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms apply to services provided by George Okafor, doing business as Jiffworks ("we", "us"), located in Texas, United States. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. What we provide

We create websites, short marketing videos and related creative work for businesses, and offer an optional monthly care plan (hosting and small edits), as described on our website at the time of your order. Package details (length, pages, formats, revisions) are listed on our pricing and order pages.

3. Ordering and delivery

You pay when you place your order. We begin work once we have received your payment and the information we reasonably need, such as your logo, services and contact details. We aim to deliver a watermarked video within 24 hours, or a private website preview within 3 days, of that point. These are targets, not guarantees. The delivery time pauses while we are waiting for information or feedback from you, and delays can also occur for reasons outside our control.

4. Payment and approval

Payment is made in full through our payment processor when you place the order. Until you approve the work, videos remain watermarked and websites remain private previews that are not launched on your domain. When you approve, we release the clean video files or launch your website. Approval means telling us in writing (email is fine) that you accept the work. If you do not respond to delivered work for 7 days after we have sent it and a reminder, it is treated as approved.

5. Revisions

Each package includes the number of revision rounds shown on the order page (one round for websites). A revision means adjustments to the existing work, such as text, colors, images, pacing, or layout within the pages ordered. A change of concept, a new script, new footage, or additional website pages is a new project and may be quoted separately. Additional revision rounds and extra pages (from $75 each) are available for an added fee.

6. Your content and warranty

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the logos, text, images and other materials you send us, and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of claims made in your video or website about your business, including licenses, prices and guarantees. We may decline any content we consider unlawful, misleading, or offensive.

7. AI-assisted production

We use AI-assisted tools to help produce scripts, visuals, voiceover, music and website content. A person reviews each deliverable before it is sent to you. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in the same way as human-made work, and we cannot guarantee that it will be.

8. License to you

After you approve the work and payment is complete, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the final video and your website design for your own business on your website, social media, advertising and similar channels. We may not be able to transfer rights to third-party elements, such as stock music, fonts and stock photos, and your license to those is limited to use inside the finished work. We may show the finished work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.

9. Domains, hosting and the care plan

Your domain name must be registered in your own name. You are responsible for registrar fees and renewals, and you agree to give us the access, or carry out the changes we describe, needed to point the domain to your new site. Website forms send enquiries to the email address you give us.

The optional care plan costs $79 per month and is billed monthly until you cancel. It includes hosting, a security certificate, up to two small edits per month (such as updating a phone number, hours or a promotion; unused edits do not carry over) and checks that your site and form are working. Larger changes are quoted separately. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and no refund is given for the current month. If you cancel, we will provide a copy of your site files on request within 30 days, and we may take the hosted site offline after the paid month ends.

10. Refunds and guarantee

Every order includes the revisions listed for your package. If you are not satisfied after your included revisions, you may request a refund before you approve the work, and we will refund the full amount you paid for that order. Once you have approved the work, or it is treated as approved under section 4, all sales are final and no refund is available.

If we are waiting on information from you to begin or finish the work and do not hear back for 14 days, after at least two reminders, we may close the order. If no work has started, we will refund you in full. If work has started, we will refund the amount you paid minus 20% for the work already done.

Monthly care plans are not refunded for the current month (see section 9). If you file a chargeback without first contacting us, we may end the service and may provide records of delivery and approval to your card issuer.

11. Liability

The services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to it. We do not guarantee any particular business results, search ranking, or number of enquiries.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
